What is a CBD Hemp Oil Tincture?
Did you know, hemp extract is actually a thick, dark paste? You can buy straight hemp extract oil, known as a concentrate, but it has a potent flavor and can be a little challenging to use. That’s why tinctures are usually the preferred CBD product.
A tincture has one main ingredient: a plant extract. It’s then mixed with other ingredients to turn it into a liquid supplement, often making it much easier to take.
Hemp oil is an oil extracted from the hemp plant. The incredible thing about hemp —and reason it’s become so popular in recent years— is that it has CBD but does not have any (or only trace amounts) of THC, the compound that causes a “high” in other types of cannabis plants. Like all of our products, Tasty Drops does not cause any psychoactive effects.
If you’re not yet familiar with these terms, I highly recommend hopping over to our education section to fully educate yourself on this amazing plant!
Why Choose These CBD Oil Drops?
The power of raw.
A little interesting fact about this product is that it’s made with raw hemp oil, which contains two compounds; CBD and CBDa. If you’re unfamiliar with these compounds, don’t worry, it’s really quite simple and you can read all about it here.
While you may not like the idea of added flavoring, Tasty Drops are not to be feared. Let me preface this by saying, if you truly do not want any flavor added, there is an unflavored option available. But if you’re like me and have devastatingly picky taste-buds, consider one of the flavored varieties; they’re made with organic and natural, food-grade flavoring.
Tinctures are great for most people, including beginners who don’t know how much CBD to take daily. The dropper top allows you to easily control how much you take, so can experiment until you find the perfect amount for you.

How to Use Tasty CBD Oil Drops
- Shake your Tasty Drop bottle well to evenly blend the CBD throughout the product.
- Squeeze the dropper top to fill it with oil, then dispense it underneath your tongue.
- Leave it there for 90 seconds and then swallow. Letting the CBD sit in your mouth for a while is very important; so when possible, don’t skip that step! Your mouth is full of capillary glands that allow the CBD to quickly absorb into your body.
For best results, use consistently for 1 week to let it build up in your system. If you feel its not meeting your expectations after that time, you can experiment with larger serving sizes to find the perfect amount for your body.
It’s safe to say that CBD tinctures taste much better than concentrates. They’re usually enjoyed without any issues, but some people simply do not like the taste of hemp or are picky when it comes to flavors —and that’s completely okay. You can mask the flavor even more by drinking juice as you swallow the oil. (If you like apple cider, that’s our top hemp-flavor-hiding choice.)
